The Oklahoma Department of Veteran Affairs is building a new $75 million long-term care facility on 90-acres in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The 213,000 square foot building will accommodate 175 American Veterans from the eastern part of the state. The project includes a reception area, resident rooms, dining areas, living rooms, and a physical therapy room. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on September 25, 2020 and construction is underway.
