Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
ReMerge is a comprehensive female diversion program designed to transform pregnant women and mothers facing incarceration into productive citizens. Working alongside the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Remerge strives to reduce the rate at which women are incarcerated and interrupt the inter-generational cycle of incarceration and poverty. The program’s incredible success has driven a need for new facilities. The 17,000 square foot building will allow ReMerge to offer services to more women looking for a new life for their families. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 12, 2018 and construction is ongoing.
