Renovations and additions
Norman, Oklahoma
Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, which is located on the University of Oklahoma campus, is undergoing a significant renovation, expanding by 27,000 square feet. This includes a 10,000 square foot addition that will provide new restrooms and study spaces on the second and third floors. The renovation will also feature a spacious chapter room on the first floor, enhancing the functionality and comfort of the house for its members. Construction will begin Fall 2024.
“Working with a project advisor on a major build isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. We owe it to our donors to make the best use of their gifts, and Cooper PA saved us money (SO much money!) and valuable time and made sure that we as ‘owners’ actually had a voice at the table so that we obtained the outcome we’d hoped and planned for. Using a project advisor was an investment – their service paid for itself several times over. You think you can manage it yourselves? It’s said, “You don’t know what you don’t know”, and testing that saying on a large project is an unwise risk to take. From accounting to final permitting, Cooper Project Advisors do the heavy lifting and keep everyone on track. 10/10 would recommend.” – Beth Barbero-Portman, Facility Corporation Board
