Holy Spirit Catholic Church serves a growing Catholic community in Mustang, Oklahoma. The church was founded in 1983 and the congregation built a family life center in 1986 that was meant to be a temporary home. Now, thirty-six years later, more than 1,000 parishioners attend four weekend Masses in a sanctuary that seats about 300 people. An $8 million facility is being built that will accommodate up to 800 people. Plans for future expansion are also included in the project to eventually accommodate 1,300 worshipers.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 20, 2018 and construction is ongoing.
